Lödige Industries presents automation solutions for the air cargo industry - At the air cargo China in June 2024

With e-commerce shipments on the rise, the air cargo business is experiencing a surge in activity. To handle growing tonnages efficiently, Lödige Industries, the global market leader for air cargo terminal technology, will be presenting a wide range of solutions for the full and semi-automation of cargo handling at air cargo China, located at hall W5 booth 361, as part of transport logistic China, Asia's premier event for cargo logistics, supply chain management, cold chain logistics, and modern warehousing, taking place in Shanghai from 25 to 27 June.

Lödige Industries' systems currently handle over 28 million tonnes of cargo annually in cargo terminals worldwide. Recent projects in Asia include the first “lift & run” system in China for Shanghai Pudong International Airport's Cargo Terminal. This patented technology was invented by Dr. Ing. Rudolf Lödige, the Managing Director Emeritus of Lödige Industries and current Chairman of the Advisory Board - a renowned leading German mechanical engineer.

Additionally, Lödige's automated material handling system for Cainiao Smart Gateway, which exemplifies the next generation of unmanned warehouse operations, will be featured at the exhibition. This innovative system will be showcased alongside other global initiatives that are part of the company's comprehensive portfolio of cargo handling solutions.

From retrofitting and upgrading existing terminals to implementing entry-level automation solutions with mobile terminal equipment and conveyor systems, all the way to realizing fully automated cargo hubs, Lödige leverages state-of-the-art technologies and intelligent IT systems.
