​​​​​​​Lödige Industries received the "Smart Logistics TOP 50 Award", showcases innovative automated logistics solutions

Logistics excellence took center stage at the recent Transport Logistic China and Air Cargo China 2024 in Shanghai from June 25 to 27. The fair, which hosted 794 exhibitors from 42 countries and regions, showcased a wide array of services and innovations in the logistics industry.

One of the key events during the Transport Logistic China 2024 was the prestigious "2024 Smart Logistics Award Top 50" ceremony. This award recognized companies that have demonstrated excellence in smart logistics solutions and innovative capabilities.

Lödige Industries, a global leading provider of automated logistics solutions, was officially selected by the event organizers and industry professionals to receive this distinguished accolade. The award acknowledges Lödige Industries' expertise and innovative approaches in the field of smart and intelligent logistics solutions, solidifying the company's position as a trailblazer in the industry from 76 years ago.

In the wake of increasing e-commerce shipments, the requirements for quick and efficient air cargo handling at terminals in Asia and worldwide are rising. Exhibition visitors were able to experience Lödige's fully and semi-automated airport logistics solutions first-hand from the interactive equipment at the company's booth. The wide range of solutions for handling and storage for ULDs, as well as management system for real-time tracking and controlling and the entire cargo flow through cargo terminals, were showcased.

Various current projects in Asia were also presented, including the first "lift & run" system in China for the cargo terminal at Shanghai Pudong International Airport and the automated material handling system for Cainiao Smart Gateway. This innovative system introduced the next generation of unmanned warehouse operations.

Among the many visitors at the booth was Mr. Lv Yaodong, Vice President of Shanghai Airport Authority. He led a team that showed great interest in Lödige Industries' air logistics solutions. An in-depth discussion was held on the modernization and transformation of air cargo terminals, the capabilities of multi-purpose heavy-duty AGV technology, advanced systems and innovative integrated technologies.
