The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing Lift installation, maintenance and repairs as needed, and must be able to troubleshoot and solve problems quickly and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (BSc.) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- English fluency is essential as the work team will be multinational. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to read, write and speak in Arabic is an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Installation, testing & commissioning, and maintaining and servicing heavy load hydraulic freight elevators, and other hydraulic and electrical vertical transport systems.
- Perform routine inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks (Preventive and Corrective) to ensure that lifts and lifting equipment are operating safely and efficiently.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting malfunctioning systems, repair or replace parts as needed, and conduct safety tests.
- Responding to mechanical failures and system malfunctions as per the defined service level agreement (SLA) with our clients.
- Assist in emergency situations.
- Read and interpret schematics.
- Keeping detailed records of his work, system performance, and repairs, and preparing timely reports.
- Communicating effectively with clients, building managers, and team members regarding the status of the elevator systems.
- Assists certified inspectors in periodic field inspections on installed equipment to assure equipment is performing efficiently and to predetermined specifications.
