The impact of covid-19 is felt across the world and is impacting our lives in an unprecedented way.
Our key concern is protecting the health of our employees, partners and their families. As a company, we also have a responsibility to the wider society. As a result, we have taken several precautions to strengthen us in the fight against COVID-19. We are also preparing ourselves for the time after the current crisis.
We are committed to maintaining business continuity for our customers worldwide. Whilst many of our team members are now working from home, those working in our factories or at customer sites are following government and international (WHO) advice to the letter, keeping them safe.
The Lödige team will continue to support you, together we have solved many challenges and we will continue to do so.
In order to ensure that you can operate your business as usual thanks to our service, we have taken precautionary measures in connection with the increasing spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus:
Travel to risk areas
- With immediate effect, our employees are not allowed to make any business trips to a risk area as defined by local and national authorities
- Employees who have been privately in a risk area within the past 14 days must work from home for 14 days from the time of their return.
Hygiene measures
- Our employees are encouraged to consistently follow all prevention recommendations of the relevant authorities.
Behaviour in the event of illness symptoms
- Employees who develop cold or flu symptoms are instructed to stay at home and contact a doctor or the public health department immediately by telephone.
- A return to work is only permitted after a negative medical report or after a 14-day quarantine.
Risk assessment
- Management reassesses the situation on a daily basis and takes additional measures where necessary to maintain operations and protect the health of our employees and customers.
