Groundbreaking ceremony for new Lödige Industries Campus in Paderborn

Investing in the future

Warburg/Paderborn, September 27, 2024 – With today’s groundbreaking for the new campus at Balhorner Feld 1, the expansion of Lödige Industries’ location in Paderborn has officially begun. By 2026, a state-of-the-art office complex for approximately 250 employees will be built here. Lödige Industries, the holding company of the globally specialized group in conveyor technology founded by the Paderborn entrepreneur family Wilhelm Lödige, with locations in Paderborn and Warburg, aims to create additional space for developing innovative technologies.

The new campus is planned as a four-story extension to the existing Technology and Innovation Center. Two additional two-story wings will provide further space for modern work areas. Upon completion, approximately 4,000 square meters will be available, primarily to drive the development of new technologies and products. Ideas developed on the campus can then be directly tested in the adjacent Technology and Innovation Center.

"Whether in our logistics systems, elevators, or parking systems, we are always striving to improve our products and meet our customers' needs with entirely new solutions. The campus will create an ideal environment for innovations, from the initial idea to the finished product," says Dr.-Ing. Rudolf Lödige, Chairman of the Advisory Board and spokesperson for the family. The close proximity and networking with Paderborn research institutions and tech companies will also promote the innovation processes.

The Customer Care Center, which monitors the installed systems worldwide around the clock, will also be housed in the new building. Additionally, the campus will feature open areas for collaborative project work, serving as a meeting point for the more than 1,300 employees, partners, and customers of the corporate group worldwide.
